Dragis Dream World
Animation
In this mixed media short film, I expressed the principles of movement, storytelling, and emotions through animation. My goal in this challenge was to combine 3D elements with handcrafted illustrations and animate them in such a way that a harmonious result is achieved.
The short film tells the story of Dragi, a 2D-illustrated character who falls through 3D-animated dream worlds. In doing so, it highlights the contrasts in dimension and experience that we encounter in dreams. In our own dreams, we see and feel things that we cannot comprehend in a waking state.
